Welcome to
Malcolm Mitchell's
'A' Shop

Hello and welcome to my web site that celebrates those beautifully engineered locomotives of the G.W.R. in miniature form.
All the photographs on this site are of models built from my own etched components and kits, unless credited otherwise. Some scratchbuilding is also involved in a few of the locomotives illustrated, and over the coming months i hope to bring you more stage by stage construction shots and tips that will illustrate the methods and techniques that i use in producing the models that you see here.
Great Western locomotive livery guide can be found
